Advantages of air filled flotation column

The aerated flotation column (counter current contact flotation column) is a new type of high-efficiency non mechanical agitation aerated flotation equipment with column type tank structure. The micro bubble technology is used for foaming, and the ore particles and the micro bubbles are in steady contact with each other in counter current, which provides a large number of opportunities to collect ore particles. A large number of theoretical researches on mineral processing show that the probability of mineralization collision is directly proportional to the second power of bubble diameter, and the flotation rate constant is inversely proportional to the third power of bubble diameter. The formation of microbubbles is an important condition for the separation of fine materials. The special bubble generator foaming (microbubble Technology) is adopted for the inflatable flotation column, and the bubble diameter is less than 1mm. Therefore, the collection effect of the inflatable flotation column in the fine-grained (under 200 mesh) is obviously better than that of the traditional flotation equipment, which is the fundamental reason for the success of the inflatable flotation column in the field of cleaning in recent years. In the past five years, the pneumatic flotation column has gradually been applied to the roughing operation of sulfide ore. The "column machine combination" process has been adopted to realize the large circulation of medium ore. good beneficiation indexes have been achieved in "Jinduicheng molybdenum industry", "Nanjing Qixiashan lead zinc mining industry", "Xiamen tungsten industry Xingluokeng tungsten mine" and other beneficiation plants.

For traditional flotation equipment, the main advantages of inflatable flotation column are as follows:

1. Fast grade upgrading: the aerated flotation column needs to create a very stable separation environment. The micro bubble contacts with the mineral countercurrent. In the process of contact, the bubble carrying the target mineral rotates, merges and breaks in the process of rising. This kind of separation method has high precision and fast grade improvement. Generally, one-time flotation column separation can replace 3-4 times flotation machine separation and effectively shorten the beneficiation process.

2. Remarkable energy saving effect: the inflatable flotation column itself does not consume power, and the auxiliary air compressor and slurry pump (foam pump) are its main energy consumption points. A large number of energy consumption statistics before and after the transformation of old concentrators show that the energy consumption of flotation column is at least 30% lower than that of traditional flotation equipment.

3. High equipment operation rate and low maintenance cost: all vulnerable parts of the inflatable flotation column can be maintained in the production process. In recent years, the flotation column technology has made rapid progress, and the service life of vulnerable parts has been significantly extended.

4. Intelligent environmental protection: all controls of the inflatable flotation column can be realized in the control room, reducing the labor intensity of the operators. It reduces the noise of the mine and the injury of floating objects to people.

Main disadvantages of flotation column

1. The flotation precision is high, and the requirement of monomer dissociation is high.

2. It is not suitable for minerals with long flotation time and long flowsheet.
