Good news: China Shenhua Harwusu Open pit Coal Mine Circular Economy Science and Technology Innovation Center and Jupiter Mining have reached cooperation on experimental flotation columns

The Harwusu open-pit coal mine is located in the eastern part of Zhungeer Banner (Xuejiawan Town) in Ordos City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, belonging to the border area of Shanxi, Shaanxi, and Inner Mongolia. The surface boundary is 9.59 kilometers long from east to west, 7.03 kilometers wide from north to south, and covers an area of 67.17 square kilometers; The recoverable raw coal reserves are 1.73 billion tons, making it one of the key coal mines under national construction during the 11th Five Year Plan period. The coal quality of the Harbin Wusu open-pit coal mine is medium ash, low sulfur, ultra-low phosphorus, high volatile content, medium high heat value, and high ash melting point long flame coal. The open-pit mining process uses a single bucket excavator to track mining.

The experimental flotation column (laboratory flotation column) produced by Jupiter Mining has small and uniform foaming, and is easy to operate. The micro sized bubbles generated by it have a good recovery effect on fine-grained minerals.

Through detailed technical exchanges, both parties have decided to carry out flotation column technology cooperation in the field of coal slurry recovery.
